OVERVIEW

Macmillan Cancer Support

ADP has worked with Macmillan Cancer Support for over 20 years on over 125 projects, many of which are based on hospital sites.

One such example is in Bury St Edmunds, where cancer care facilities have been centralised in one development. This provides day oncology treatment and related outpatient facilities alongside 16 oncology and haematology inpatient beds, two isolation facilities, and an information centre.

Natural daylight is critical to a patient-centred approach, in this case creating a number of light spaces within the facility. Intimate and group settings cater for individuals and families and support patients recovering from transplants and transfusions or requiring palliative care.
