OVERVIEW

Institute of Media

The Ealing Institute of Media is one of a series of projects undertaken by ADP for Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College. It links new and existing buildings and spaces to maximise their effectiveness, increase student intake and raise the profile of the college.

A Centre of Vocational Excellence, the institute embraces its links to film and media, offering cutting edge facilities for its students and yet sits respectfully alongside a Grade I listed building by Sir John Soane.

Facilities include TV studio, reception, dark room, editing suite, photography room, art room and science laboratory. Community links are strong, with improved public access to the site and the creation of a gym and café open to all.

This project is focused on the people who use it and, as a result, is a dynamic, vibrant and social space, reflecting its heritage and ambition.
