Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College

Ealing Institute of Media is one of a series of projects undertaken for Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College, helping to link buildings and spaces to maximise their effectiveness, increase student intake and raise their profile.

A Centre of Vocational Excellence, the Institute embraces its links to film and media offering contemporary cutting edge facilities for its students yet sits respectfully and sensitively alongside a Grade I listed building by Sir John Soane.

Facilities include TV studio, reception, dark room, editing suite, photography room, art room and science laboratory. Community links are strong, with improved public access to the site and the creation of a gym and café open to all.

This project is focused on the people who use it and as a result, is a dynamic, vibrant and social space, reflecting its heritage and ambition.
