OVERVIEW

Simon Beaumont-Orr

Simon joined ADP in 2015 and was made senior architect two years later, after gaining invaluable experience working on a number of residential, community, and education projects. Prior to joining ADP, Simon worked on a variety of schemes, from initial feasibility and masterplanning through to on-site construction and handover. His last project before joining ADP, Beaudesert Park School Performing Arts Centre, was shortlisted for the RIBA South West Awards.

As a member of the AECB, Simon has a keen interest in sustainable design and building to Passivhaus standards. His Masters in Architecture looked at the possibility of using crops as part of solar shading strategies for buildings. Throughout his work at ADP, Simon has endeavoured to incorporate those values in the projects he has been a part of.

Simon has worked on Henley Business School for the University of Reading, Clay Farm Community Centre, and Jesus College student accommodation. Outside of work, Simon is an avid cyclist and enjoys 'bikepacking'.
