Roger FitzGerald

Roger joined ADP on completing his studies at the University of Manchester in 1983, and became a partner in 1990. Now, as Chair, his responsibilities include design quality, public relations, and the ADP brand.

Roger provides design input to projects in all studios, utilising his experience across many sectors, including commercial, universities, colleges, schools, and in healthcare and leisure. He has been responsible for some significant masterplans involving up to £1 billion of investment. He has particular interest in designing in historic locations, and his work has won many awards and been widely published. He is a regular Civic Trust Awards assessor, and he has reviewed projects for the RIBA awards.

A keen artist in his spare time, his architectural paintings have been widely exhibited, published and auctioned for charity. His book “Buildings of London” (Artifice) was published in 2016 and “Buildings of New York” in 2017.
