Graham McRuvie

A qualified architect since 1989, Graham joined our Sherborne studio in 1999. He brought with him a diverse range of experience and skill, with an in-depth understanding of different building types, client sectors and procurement methods. Graham works with Sherborne director Chris to ensure the smooth management of the studio and its respective projects. Graham is highly adept at using building information modelling as a design tool, from the earliest stages of a project to develop ideas from simple massing models to complex, highly detailed models for marketing and presentation.

Since joining ADP, Graham has expanded his existing education sector experience by leading the Sherborne studio’s university/HE work, including work with the universities of Bath, Bristol, Bournemouth, and Southampton.

Graham also works closely with Chris on ADP’s healthcare work. His technical insight and project management skills are key to organising appropriate internal resources and ensuring correct protocols and procedures, specific to the project requirements, are followed.

When not working Graham’s interests lie in two diverse directions – motorcycling and sea kayaking, though with our weather he gets soaked doing both activities. Motorcycling has included touring through parts of Europe and much of the UK. Sea kayaking gives Graham a fascinating view of our coastline and is a good way to get away and unwind, depending on sea conditions!
