OVERVIEW

Claire Hunt

Claire joined ADP in 2008 and achieved a Commendation PGDip in Landscape Architecture in 2010. In 2013 she became a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute.  Prior to working at ADP, Claire gained training at Birmingham Botanical Gardens; which has given her an expansive knowledge of horticulture.

Her expertise can most recently be seen in the public realm projects for Leeds University Undergraduate Library where she has been responsible for the majority of the landscape design, including a roof garden with bee hives. She has also been responsible for the delivery of a number of schools across the country, the most recently completed at Oldfield School in Maidenhead where the school was raised above the ground level and out of the flood plain. The landscape design included a series of ramps and steps to enable access.

Other schemes include a nursery school play garden for the University of Central Lancashire that uses plants in a sensory and playful way, and a suite of public realm schemes for the University of Liverpool, which uses natural stone, hedging and a green wall, connecting spaces and creating teaching and communal areas.

Claire is a keen runner, and a talented singer.  She has taken part several marathons, and sings in a choir that performs at music festivals across the Midlands.
