James has been with the practice since 1985, and was appointed as a partner in 1997. He has a breadth of experience in a variety of project types and procurement routes, with a particular focus on the education and healthcare sectors. This has ranged from minor alterations, to large technically complex new build schemes -including the restoration and conversion of historic buildings. James has a particular interest in dispute resolution processes and has obtained fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and inclusion on the RIBA panels of Adjudicators and Arbitrators. Based at our West Country studio in Yeovil with Chris, he takes responsibility for practice risk management, Environmental Management Systems and regional projects.
