David has worked with us since 1984, and
has been a partner since 1991. He studied architecture at Newcastle University and Heriot-Watt University, and subsequently completed an MSc in Project Management at the University of Reading. As Managing Partner he has overall responsibility for the financial operation and business development of the practice. David's principal interest is in the design of higher education buildings and he leads the practice's higher education group.

This includes working with funding body HEFCE and prominent HE clients to identify areas of interest and concern for the sector which can be addressed through seminars and further research. He is also Managing Director and Chairman of Adpak Limited: the practice's sister company offering multi-disciplinary services.
