We are an international team, working from nine different locations across the UK, Cyprus and India. But we are also one team, combining experience and flexibility. Designing houses well is one of the most important challenges for an architect – particularly when those houses need to respond to a complex, traditional setting. Our challenge was to design this house in Kent as a daringly modern response to its historic surroundings, taking a highly sustainable approach. The family wanted their home to […]
Our design for the Forum focused on bringing the three different types of user together in a shared community space. A central atrium helps students and members of the public to feel more connected, while giving the building itself a powerful, unified identity.
We’ve worked closely with the University of Sussex for over fifteen years, from developing their masterplan to designing a number of new buildings for their campus. Founded in 1959, the campus is characterised by its listed buildings designed by Sir Basil Spence, as well as the surrounding South Downs National Park. Growth in the late […]
A decade had passed since the last masterplan for the Knowledge Gateway – the University of Essex’s research and business park in Colchester – and the University commissioned us to create a new one. The masterplan would help to increase density on the site, and would explore options for a number of new buildings including […]

After several key projects at White Rose Office Park, we were commissioned to devise a masterplan for the whole site, as well as the adjoining Millshaw Park Industrial Estate. Munroe K – the developers – had a radical vision for the park, which would be a heartland for innovation and act as a focal point […]

Munroe K, our client, had wanted for some time to improve the public transport links to the site by constructing a new railway station. This would lie on the Leeds–Huddersfield line, […]
We’ve delivered several projects on White Rose Office Park, which is home to a number of significant companies. One of these tenants – a major sports broadcasting company – had outgrown its existing offices, and needed a large extension that would connect seamlessly with the existing block.
