The RICS Social Impact Awards shortlist has been announced.

We are delighted that two of ADP’s projects have been shortlisted for this year’s RICS Social Impact Awards in the south-east region: the Stokes Centre for Urology and the Stansfeld Centre for Innovation and Science Education.

A collaboration between the Prostate Project and the NHS, the Stokes Centre for Urology is a sector-leading facility for treating prostate cancer patients. It consolidates many specialist services (diagnosis, treatment, recovery, outpatients and research) under one roof, creating a “one-team” approach that results in better patient care.

The Stansfeld Centre is the UK’s first integrated indoor-outdoor science education centre for primary and early years children, delivering exciting, curiosity-based activities that combine both natural and physical sciences. Located in a 15-acre woodland, it is a private, safe and stimulating environment where young visitors can explore and learn about environmental science and biodiversity.

The Social Impact Awards showcase world-class examples of how the built environment can have a direct, positive social and environmental impact on society.

Regional winners will be announced on the 11th June 2020 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
