RIBA shortlist Laidlaw Library

The library provides a rich range of contemporary learning environments for the undergraduate students and wider Leeds community, connecting the university and the city.

Crafted in Portland Stone, the library creates a strong sense of place and provides a fitting addition to the historic context alongside the iconic neo-classical, Grade II listed Parkinson Building.

Already popular with students and the wider community, the building is designed for longevity in both its maintenance and timeless style.
