Dundee Care Home Goes to Planners

We’re pleased to announce that our design for a new care home in Dundee has been submitted for planning approval.

When complete, the care home will provide accommodation and care for up to 70 people. The site sits below the Liff Hospital residential development, on a slope facing the River Tay.

Our design divides the facility into three flexible sections: one for active elderly patients with access to 24-hour care, another for elderly residents who require 24-hour nursing care, and a third for residents with severe dementia. We arranged the bedrooms in clusters of 8–10, with shared day lounges and dining areas as well as dedicated staff areas for each cluster. The building also includes a production kitchen, a laundry, and a large, fully accessible communal garden designed to make the most of available sunlight.

Led by developer Consensus Capital Group, the scheme is one of a number of our current residential and healthcare projects in Scotland, including an affordable housing scheme in Perth and Kinross.
