Working in Cyprus
7 May 2010ADP is delighted to announce that we have won our first international projects in Cyprus. Working in partnership with a local practice based in Nicosia, Epitessera Architects, ADP will be designing three new schools for the Cyprus Ministry of Education-Technical Development:Athienou Elementary School, The English School, and Prodomos Camping Site.
With his extensive experience in working with schools, ADP Partner Simon Kneafsey will be acting as a key consultant on the projects. Ranging between £2.8m and £4.3m in construction value, the projects include developing high quality teaching accommodation and sports facilities for each of the schools. The English School's campus also includes a listed building, built in Colonial style.
ADP has also been shortlisted for a £40m design competition for a new Faculty of Engineering on the Athalassa Campus at the University of Cyprus. Once again, should we be successful, this project will be delivered in conjunction with local firm Epitessera Architects.
