ADP is working towards establishing a presence in India, with the aim of providing UK quality architectural services to the rapidly expanding Indian economy.

The education sector in India is undergoing rapid development as the country seeks to increase levels of educational attainment, and in particular, the numbers of well-qualified graduates. This development is generating the need for new universities, colleges and schools and it is this area that ADP will initially focus upon. We currently work with 27% of UK universities, and we have a detailed understanding of all university building types. We also have considerable expertise in the masterplanning of education institutions, and a portfolio of projects beyond higher education that includes state and independent schools, colleges and management schools.

ADP also intends to provide services in other areas such as health, commercial and residential sectors, where we will utilise our considerable UK-based expertise.

As well as Indian-based institutions and organisations, we hope to provide services to UK and other European and American universities looking to open campuses or establish joint ventures with Indian providers. Our knowledge of current developments in world class universities, alongside an in-country presence, will be an invaluable resource for such institutions.

We are also developing partnerships with local practices, establishing a delivery service for clients seeking to move ahead quickly, and our own staff will soon be located in Delhi to manage the relationships with clients. Our longer term objective is to make our services available throughout India.
