knowledgeshare: Independent Schools
Forums for discussion, debate and information
12 January 2010ADP is launching a series of knowledgeshare workshops, forums and seminars focussing on key issues in the independent schools sector. Designed to provide opportunities to meet other professionals and share information, delegates can enjoy presentations and discussions led by highly experienced architects and other key note speakers.
The first of these workshops will be held at Cheltenham College on 27th January '10 from 12-5pm, and will focus on examining the purpose, design and implementation of conservation plans in schools with historic or sensitive sites. Key note speakers will include ADP's Heritage Architecture specialist, Dianna Floud, who will draw upon recent experience of working with Cheltenham College to discuss how a conservation plan can help you to develop your site. Other speakers will discuss issues around masterplanning and sustainability.
The half-day event will include a tour of Cheltenham College's magnificent site which includes Grade I, II and II* listed buildings plus a complimentary light lunch.
Attendance at the event is free of charge and spaces are allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
